Prof.Dr.M.Subramanian has over 36 years of service in Government Hospital in Tamil Nadu, 30 years of teaching experience for Under Graduates and 25 years of teaching experience for Post Graduates. He was awarded the “Lifetime Achievement Award” for his exemplary services in the field of Medicine by the MGR University in the Year 2012.
He has occupied various positions ranging from Assistant Professor to Professor in Government Royapettah Hospital, Kilpauk Medical College and Government General Hospital. He retired as Professor and Head of Department from Madras Medical College (Government General Hospital).
He has visited many Joint Replacement centers in Germany, Switzerland, America, Italy, Austria and Holland for updating his Orthopaedic Surgical Skills. He has also invited many renowned Replacement Surgeons from America, Germany and Italy and have operated with them. They have also performed Live Surgical Demonstrations for the benefit of young Orthopaedic Surgeons which will aid them in understanding, evaluating and treating the patients better.
He has conducted Total Knee Replacement and Total Hip Replacement courses and seminars in the state and national level.
